Polycrystalline Diamond Powder

April 4, 2011 by admin

OFTech detonation polycrystalline diamond (PCD) is similar with natural Carbonado in the structure. There’re thousands of micro crystallites size of 3-10nm integrated together into polycrystalline structure through unsaturated bond. PCD has many more cutting surfaces, resulting in the higher removal rates. It also has good self-sharpening properties. The polycrystalline structure will open every time new sharp edges introduced by releasing an outer layer of dull crystallites. The polycrystalline diamond can lap and polish any materials fast while produce the smoothest surface without scratches.

OA-FG

FG diamond is a polycrystalline diamond, formed by explosion synthesis. Each diamond particle consists of countless microcrystallites, about 20 nanometers in size. Polycrystalline diamond features no cleavage planes, which makes the particles tougher, compared to monocrystalline particles.

OA-DP

DP diamond is formed by explosion synthesis, leading to a polycrystalline particle structure. Each diamond particle consists of countless microcrystallites, about 20 nanometers in size. Polycrystalline diamond features no cleavage planes, which makes the particles tougher, compared to monocrystalline particles.

Aluminum Oxide Lapping Tape

Aluminum Oxide Lapping Film2 lapping tape polishing film polishing tape

Aluminum oxide is used for its hardness and strength. It is widely used as a coarse or fine abrasive, including as a much less expensive substitute for industrial diamond. Many types of sandpaper use aluminum oxide crystals. In addition, its low heat retention and low specific heat make it widely used in grinding operations, particularly cutoff tools. Aluminum oxide powder is used in some CD/DVD polishing and scratch-repair kits. Its polishing qualities are also behind its use in toothpaste. Both its strength and abrasive characteristics are due to aluminum oxide’s great hardness (position 9 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness).

In dentistry, it is used as a polishing agent to remove stains. It is an alternative to sodium bicarbonate, for patients that have high blood pressure.

Particle Size (µm): 1,3,6,9,12,15,30,45,60,80,100

Application: Metal Fabricating, Electronics, Fiber Optics, Semi-Conductor, Wood Working, Cutlery, Automotive, Jewelry, Aerospace and Firearms industries.

Polish Roller: Mental roller, Mirror roller, ceramic rollers, tungsten carbide roller, embossing roll, corrugated roller, cob-webanilox roller.

Nano-diamond Powder

April 1, 2011 by admin

OFTech Nano-diamond is made from the detonation of high power explosives under minus balance of oxygen. The detonation brings out a proper diamond-growing condition with high temperature, super high pressure and isolated carbon atoms. Nanodiamond is different from normal synthetic diamond. It is round without any edges and corners and its crystal size is about 3-15nm.
